Altan Üze is an illustrator and graphic designer with a diverse educational background from the State Academy of Fine Arts in Istanbul and Burke Akademie in Munich. Building upon his education, Altan began his professional journey as a graphic designer at Publicis BBM Munich, where he gained valuable industry experience.
In the 90s, transitioned into a freelance career as an illustrator, collaborating with numerous projects and companies. With expertise in both traditional art techniques and digital tools, he has cultivated an artistic style that merges analog and digital drawing techniques.
Driven by passion for his craft, Altan took a leap forward in his career by establishing his own advertising agency in Munich in 2000. His agency quickly gained acclaim for its exceptional work, earning them more than 30 national and international awards for their impactful campaigns and designs.
In 2010, seeking new horizons and inspirations, he made the decision to embrace the slower pace and tranquility that coastal living offers and moved to Bodrum. Alongside his illustration work, Altan found the perfect opportunity in Bodrum to take his lifelong avocation for playing bass guitar and elevate his skills as a musician to a professional level, working full-time in a professional band. Balancing between performances on stage and creating art on canvas, he finds harmony in pursuing both his passion for music and his work as an illustrator.
